RULES
1. Round Limit & Rules
  • 501, 701 and Cricket are FIFTEEN (15) rounds.
  • 901 is TWENTY (20) rounds.
  • Count-up is EIGHT (8) rounds.
  • Choice is either 01 or Standard Cricket.
2. Playing Order Decision
  • Players feet must not exceed throwline during play.
  • Throwing order of the 1st LEG will be decided by corking.
  • The coin toss function of PHOENIXDARTS Machine will be used for deciding who throws the cork first.
  • The player who throws closer to the center of the BULL can decide the throwing order.
  • If the first player's dart hits the exact center of the BULL, the second player is required to verify the location, remove the first player's dart, then throw the cork.
  • The winner of the cork can decide the throwing order of the 1st LEG.
    Second Leg: Loser of the previous leg throws first.
    (FIVE (5) sets are in the same way)
  • For the DECIDING leg, the loser of the previous leg will start to Cork/throw Closest to bull to start the leg.
  • For the CHOICE leg, the loser of the previous leg will start to Cork/throw Closest to bull to choose game and/or start the leg.
  • Dart Scoring - The score for each dart will be based on where it lands on the dartboard.
  • Machine Score Validity - If a dart makes contact but does not remain on the board, the machine’s registered score will be considered official.
  • Missed Dart / No Sensor Detection - If a dart is not detected by the sensor or shows as a “MISSED DART,” the score will still be recorded according to the dart’s actual landing point.
  • Machine Malfunction / Scoring Issues - If there are any concerns about the machine’s scoring or functionality, stop play immediately, do not remove the dart, and notify to PHOENIX CUP official for judgement.
  • Darts thrown before a player’s turn will not be registered or accepted.
  • Complaints and dispute lodged after the match ended will be ignored.
  • All Round Robin games must be completed for placement.
  • For double match, players are not allowed to switch throwing order on following leg.
3. How To Decide The Winner
  • If a game is not completed within the round limit, we will decide the winner as below.
3.1 01 GAME
  • Player with the lowest total point wins.
  • In case of draw, the player with a higher PPD wins.
  • In case of identical PPD, the player with first thrown will win.
3.2 CRICKET & CRICKET COUNT-UP
  • Player with the highest total point wins.
  • In case of draw, the player with a higher MPR wins.
  • In case of identical MPR, the player with first thrown will win.
4. HOW TO DECIDE WHO ADVANCES FROM THE ROUND ROBIN TIE SCORE
  • Higher number of winning sets.
  • Higher number of winning legs.
  • Lower number of loss legs.
  • Head-to-head winning count.
  • Highest Count-Up qualify to Knock-Out if there are same score between THREE (3) players/teams.
5. Rules for Entry and Attitude
  • Other brand’s logo, badges, symbols and event logos are strictly prohibited inside the competition area.
  • Smoking / Vaping is strictly PROHIBITED in the event hall.
  • Drug and illegal substances are strictly PROHIBITED in the event hall too.
  • Players or guests found disrupting the event will be removed from the competition area.
  • Outside foods and drinks are not allowed in the event hall.
6. Player Attire
  • All players are required to dress appropriately.
  • No shorts, singlets, shoulder baring clothing, dresses and/or skirts above knee level, sandals and/or slippers.
  • Players caught breaching the dress code will be disqualified.
7. Pre-Game
  • Phoenix Cup Officials will announce all games over the P.A system in the competition area.
  • All games should start within THREE (3) minutes after the announcement.
  • Only THREE (3) reminders announcement will be given to player who failed to attend to the allocated machine within THREE (3) minutes.
  • Players are allowed up to SIX (6) darts for warm up before each match.
8. Game Recording and Reporting
  • Player must report their play stats and results by themselves at the control center after each match.
  • Players who fail to report scores or matches will be disqualified.
  • All other reports and complaints made after a match is complete will also be ignored.
  • Kindly contact our officials for further assistance if required.
  • Organizer reserved the right to disqualify players who violates above mentioned rules.
